Nursing Home Negligence
It is a fact of life that almost 43% of the U.S. population sixty-five or older will reside in nursing homes at some point. What you may not know is that negligence and mistreatment occurs in almost 1/3 of the nursing homes and elder care facilities in the U.S. As family members, we trust that our loved ones will experience high levels of care, no matter which home we choose. Unfortunately, this is not always the case. No matter how closely we investigate a facility, nursing home neglect and mistreatment can and do occur.
